EILEEN GLASSMAN, CPA, CVA

Eileen joined the firm of GKG in 2001 as a partner, after having formed and been a partner in another firm since 1993. She specializes in business valuation and litigation support work providing valuation reports for attorneys and their clients for use in estate and gift planning, buy/sell agreements and marital dissolution cases. Eileen is also an expert witness in such cases and has testified in Supreme Court numerous times over the years. Additionally, Eileen provides auditing, accounting and tax services to numerous not-for-profit organizations as well as small and medium-sized closely-held businesses and individuals. 

Eileen has a Bachelor of Science degree from SUNY New Paltz and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Brooklyn College. A certified public accountant and a certified valuation analyst, Eileen is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts and the Hudson Valley Estate Planning Council.

Eileen is a Kiwanis Club member, a graduate of Leadership Orange, a Leadership Orange board member and currently the Chair of the Leadership Orange Alumni Committee. She is also past chairperson of the Valuation and Litigation Support Committee of the Mid-Hudson Chapter of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, an Ambassador and Mentor for the Orange County Chamber of Commerce, and past board member of the Greater Newburgh Symphony Orchestra. In addition she does volunteer work for Orange County United Way. 

Eileen and her husband live in Ulster County, have two children and two grandchildren. Eileen enjoys travelling, crossword puzzles, music, and reading.
