Raymond Neubauer, CPA promoted to partner of GKG
In January 2011, GKG announced the promotion of Raymond Neubauer, CPA to partner of the firm. Ray has been with GKG for 12 years. Ray is a member of the AICPA and New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is actively involved in the community and sits on the Board of directors of Home Aides of Rockland and The Rotary Club of Rockland.
Scott Goldstein, CPA, named Leader of the Year by Leadership Rockland.
In June, Scott Goldstein, CPA, a founding partner of GKG, was named Leader of the Year by Leadership Rockland. “His contributions of time and expertise have benefitted the organization. Scott has served on almost every committee and gained the respect of fellow board members for his insights and guidance on issues that affect Leadership Rockland’s strength and recognition as the premier Leadership organization in our county” said Dorothy Filoramo, President of the Executive Board.
GKG donates 540 lbs of food
GKG’s efforts in helping the community were a huge success this year for both the Thanksgiving food pantry and Holiday toy drive. The People to People Organization was overwhelmed by the amount of food GKG contributed to the Thanksgiving Food Pantry. The total poundage (determined by the pantry scale) was 540lbs. Toys donated by our firm to Project Joy and Gift of an Angel far exceeded our expectations. Thanks to all our staff and partners the Holidays will be extra special for many people.
